My Tall Shape Up Is Starting Today!

My main goal this year is to get feeling healthy again. I have severe anemia, have put on weight and  generally feel like crap. All of this blogging and website updating has been bad for my waist line.  I've had a busy week, so today is the first day I've had to get my shape up plan together for the new year.

First thing, I stepped on the scale and I almost threw up. I knew I was out of shape, but wow, how embarrassing! That's the last time I want to see that number. 

I got my kiddos off to school and hit the gym. I did 25 minutes on the bicycle and walked a mile around the track. It wasn't high cardio, but I have some back disk pain, so I don't want to hurt myself.

My fitness plan is to exercise 5 times per week mixing it up between weight lifting twice a week and a mixture of cardio, yoga and pilates.

For eating, I'm going to follow the Weight Watchers online program. I've done it in the past and it works well for me.

I will do my weigh ins once a week on Thursdays and document my progress here. 

Anyone out there ready to get healthier this year and join me in a "Tall Shape Up?" Let's motivate each other!
