Note: I just want to say that I have been disappointed with similar shirts at JCPenney's over the last year as I have found the sleeves a bit too short and too tight. I am also upset that Lands' End took away their women's custom made shirt feature. For years, I would purchase wrinkle-free crisp looking shirts in my size, and I loved them. They no longer offer the custom made feature.

Product Review: Women's Tall Cardigan

I recently purchased JCPenney's Layered Look Tall Cardigan Sweater and I must say that I'm impressed. This sweater looks like two shirts, but is just one. I like that the empire waist actually fits me below the chest and not across it. Empire waists are a great style for me because with 5 kids, I have a bit of junk in my trunk in the tummy area {{sad, but true}}. This tall cardigan accentuates the thinnest part of my torso right under the chest and then flairs out nicely over the tummy without a lot of extra bulk. Love that! The sleeves are even long enough.
For under $30, it's a terrific buy!

However I have a few issues. Yesterday I purchased the Privo Skite Mary Jane Flats. My size was available when I ordered and everything was all set. Then a few hours later I got this email:

Are you kidding me, they cancelled my order? But, it showed my size as available! It reminds me of when I was a travel agent. I would sometimes work out a complicated travel itinerary. It may take me several hours. Then after getting everything all figured out, I would go to ticket the airline tickets. I would cross my fingers and pray that there was actually availability on the airline. You never knew until tickets were created. Many times, there were no seats. It's frustrating!
So, I decided to go with the 1st runner up choice which is: Walking Cradles Women's Taylor. Another problem, now size 12M is sold out. They have size 12W, but not medium. This is not my day!
So now it's time to order the 2nd runner up. Crossing my fingers and toes this time! I placed my order and so far success on this pair. They even said I was upgraded to overnight shipping, so I should receive them tomorrow. Thank you Endless Shoes. I'll post the review after I check them out for a few days.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month - Products That Support the Fight

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

We've all know someone that has passed away from breast cancer. My Aunt Faye passed away when I was 13 years old and she was 50. She was a remarkable woman and fought a courageous fight for 5 years. I will never forget her optimism and how she never complained.
When I got my hair done today, my hairdresser has colored some of her hair pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month. She is going on a 3 day walk for breast cancer at the end of this month. We can all do something to help in the fight for a cure. It can even be as simple as collecting yogurt tops.
Don't forget to always do your monthly self exams for early detection!
Many companies are donating money to fight breast cancer. We applaud their donations. Here are a few:
