Women's Tall Pants Product Review: Height Goddess

For my Thursday Tall Shape up the scale says I've gained 2.6 pound this week. Ugh! I hoped not, but kind of expected it to say that after such a big loss last week. I followed the exact same plan on Weight Watchers and exercised. However, my clothes fit better. I believe I gained some muscle this week and I'm mostly fine with that.  I also had a salty dinner last night, so perhaps that could come into play. I don't know. Well, I guess I'm a little disappointed, as I worked really hard. I'll continue to stick with my plan and hopefully next week I'll be rewarded for it. So overall I am down 8.3 lbs. 
I made a deal with myself that I would reward myself with clothes when I reached weight loss goals. It's a huge motivator to me! So no rewards this week. :(

As a reward to myself for losing my first 10 lbs, (now 8.3 lbs) I purchased the below pair of Height Goddess - Bethany Wide Leg Cuffed Tall Dress Pants. I've been wanting to try them out for a while. Today I'm going to review them.

I placed my order with Height Goddess and I was surprised to find it arrived around 3 days later. Talk about fast shipping! I couldn't wait to try them. I bought the 35" inseam length. The leg length is long enough that I can wear them with flats or mid-heels.

The fabric is a poly/rayon/spandex. The feel is dressier as well as the look, which is what I was hoping for as I wanted a go-to pair of tall dress pants.

It feels good on and looks great. Overall, I'm quite happy. I think the only critique is that I wish the front pockets were a bit deeper. They are more like a rounded half-pocket and won't really hold anything.  I guess that's why we all take a handbag.

I definitely recommend this pair of women's tall pants as a keeper. You will also be able to find them in 37" and 39" inseams in black or in tan.

I work in the professional realm, so a nicely fitting suit is always a great find. I prefer black, with a tailored feel. Long sleeved shirts that are cinched at the waist, or short sleeved patterned shirts work. I like stylish. I like a low rise waist, love a cuffed trouser. Love pencil skirts. Jeans are the hardest thing for me to find that fit well. Easy to find a 6, or higher, but a 4 with an extra long inseam is difficult. I usually find that to get a good fit, I have to pay a lot more, so if you can keep me in the $60-70 for separates, I appreciate it! I love a good sale! A great basic pant that is affordable is JCPenney's bi-stretch tall pants. They have a bit of stretch for comfort, but retain their shape. Choose from 8 colors. The tall sizes have a 34" inseam and the ultra-tall have a 37" inseam.

Ed Hardy Lounge Pants 37" Inseam

I just discovered a luxurious pair of Ed Hardy women's tall lounge pants with a 37" inseam. I love the cute pattern on the leg, and it's embellished with rhinestones. I have never seen Ed Hardy lounge pants that are this long before.

Women's 37" Inseam Khaki Pants

I received an email from a Mother looking for some khaki pants for her daughter.
"My daughter performs with a local theater company and as an ambassador for the company she and a hand full of others represent the program throughout the year. This group is uniform in dress when out and about with the exception of my daughter. :( She is required to wear light khaki slacks with belt loops and a long sleeve shirt. The company provides a well fitting shirt but the slacks have been a huge problem. My daughter is 16, 6' and requires a size 8 or a 34 X 37 pant. Do you have any idea where to find such a thing or a tailor in the California, central valley?"
My solution:
Most of the traditional stores have taken the "tall sizes" out of the stores and sell them exclusively online. I personally don't know of a tailor in your area. The good news is that I have found a couple of pair of pants that may work for her, so hopefully you have time to order them.

Gap Adds 37" Inseam Jeans for Tall Women

Gap.com has changed their women's tall jeans sizing, including adding some 37" inseam jeans! I have included the size chart so you can see the changes. All of the "tall" inseams used to be 36" inseams. Now they are mainly 37" inseams with the majority of their "long"size jeans having 35" inseams.

Velour Tall Lounge Pants

It's time for some 'chillaxin' when you put on these velour tall lounge pants by Alloy. They come in extra long inseam lengths of 35" or 37" inseams. Size will not be an issue as you can choose from sizes S-3XL. Of course, their prices are always low, so there's not any excuse to not pick up a pair of tall lounge pants.
