Womens Tall White Shirts and Tunics

Dena, a 6' tall woman asked for help in finding basic womens tall white shirts. She would prefer a fitted style.
A great looking tall white shirt is a necessity for everyone. You can wear them with jeans, skirts, dress pants, or just about anything. They are perfect wearing year round. Here is what I have found:

Eddie Bauer's wrinkle free tall white shirt - a smooth, crisp option with front and back darts for great shaping.

Eddie Bauer's wrinkle free long sleeve tunic shirt with a longer length and side slits - nice for leaving untucked.

Banana Republic's tall tuxedo tunic offers feminine detailing with a bit of stretch and a longer than normal length. (31" long) {{Love this one!}}

Banana Republic's non-iron fitted sateen tall white shirt offers a polished, crisp look.

Banana Republic's white french cuff tall shirt has gotten great reviews from tall women. Some suggested you go up a size if you have a large chest.

Long Elegant Legs tall white tunic blouse is 34.5" long and has feminine ruffles.

JJill's tall white tunic is thigh length and come with pearlized buttons.

Soft Surroundings offers a tall classic cotton gauze big shirt (loose fit) 35" length. Comfy and relaxed style.

Note: I just want to say that I have been disappointed with similar shirts at JCPenney's over the last year as I have found the sleeves a bit too short and too tight. I am also upset that Lands' End took away their women's custom made shirt feature. For years, I would purchase wrinkle-free crisp looking shirts in my size, and I loved them. They no longer offer the custom made feature.

Splendid Tunic T-Shirt

The Splendid brand maks t-shirts in longer lengths, they work well for the women with semi-long torsos. I especially like this style - the Splendid pocket tunic t-shirt made of light jersey fabric with an uneven hemline. It looks great with skinny jeans or leggings.

Long Tunics

Long tunics are a must have in any tall women's wardrobe. The added length is needed for us long torso gals. The great news is that they are everywhere now! Long tunics look terrific worn over tall leggings, skinny jeans or any other slim fitting pair of pants. Drapey long tunics hide a bit of tummy flab especially if worn over the aforementioned slim fitting pants.

Tie waist long tunics like those above are flattering and help to accentuate the waist. Don't be afraid to experiment with different materials and patterns. It's best to choose a length that is at least hip length. When wearing a tunic with tall leggings, I prefer to have my rear covered. :)

As tall snobs, we like our clothing to be long enough. Is it too much to ask that our shirts hit our hips and our pants hit our ankles? We think not!
